Establishing A Deposit Account

Overview

A Deposit Account with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Board Records Department, provides contractors with the ability to keep funds on deposit. As a service is provided, fees will be assessed and deducted from the account balance. This deposit account eliminates the requirement of paying copying costs in person or by mail, and expedites the customer’s requests which can be submitted via fax or telephone.

To Open A Deposit Account

To open an account, you must submit an “Application for Water and Navigation Deposit Account” form with a minimum deposit of $50.00. Mail your application and check made payable to “Board of County Commissioners” to:

Ken Burke
Clerk of the Circuit Court

Using Your Deposit Account

You may charge copying fees to this account. The requested copies along with a Water & Navigation Copy Request Form (indicating the amount charged for the service) will be sent by fax. Please ensure your account has sufficient funds available so we may timely process your requests. To prevent unauthorized use, you must provide your account number each time you request a charge. You may make additional deposits to your account by remitting funds along with a written request to Board Records at the address listed above. Any changes desired to your deposit account should be made by filing a new “Application for Water and Navigation Deposit Account” form, which may be faxed to Board Records at (727) 464-4716 or mailed to the address listed above.
